The purpose of the MAEC Arts Education Grants program is to support arts education in the School District of Manatee County. We offer grant funding for PreK- 12 arts teachers in Manatee County Schools for arts related field trips, special arts projects, general arts materials and supplies, and professional development for arts educators.
We accept grant proposals August 1 – October 1 of each school year. Proposals are reviewed and scored by the MAEC Grant Advisory Committee. Grant awards are announced by November 1. Grant winners receive funds and are recognized during the annual Arts Rise & Shine Leadership Breakfast.
